Handling and accuracy of usual Sako standard

Choosing a .243, it was a close call between the Tikka T3 and Sako A7. In the end, the soft touch coating of the A7, the magazine loadable through the action, and the two position safety with separate "safe unload" button of the A7 secured my preference.

Already having a Sako Quad in .17HMR, the A7 more than lived up to expectations. Consistent 3/4-inch groups were quickly realised off bipod at 100m with Sako 90g Gamepoint ammunition and only slightly more off sticks.

The A7 costs more than a T3 and less than a Sako 85, and has features and characteristics of both. For the money, I couldn't find a factory rifle I liked more than the A7.
